Admission Notice
We are pleased to announce that admission is open for the academic session July to June. We offer classes from Playgroup to A Level, following the Cambridge Curriculum. Admissions are generally open throughout the year depending on seat availability, with additional opportunities through special admission fairs that may offer tuition waivers and are announced in advance. Mid-session admissions are also considered around December, subject to seat availability.
Eligibility Criteria
Playgroup: Age must be between 2 years 6 months to 3 years at the time of admission.
Other Classes: Successful completion of the previous class is required. A photocopy of the report card from the last attended institution must be submitted (not applicable for Playgroup).
Application Procedure
- Visit the school office during office hours (Saturday to Thursday, 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM).
- Collect the admission form from the Admin Officer.
- For Playgroup, an interview will be scheduled.
- For Classes above Playgroup, an admission test will be arranged.
- After a successful interview or test, proceed to the Accounts Office for completion of admission formalities.
- Upon payment, a unique account code will be issued, which serves as the student’s ID in ESS.
Required Documents
Please submit the following documents along with the completed admission form:
- Two (2) recent passport size photographs of the candidate
- One (1) 3R size family photograph
- Photocopy of the previous report card (not required for Playgroup)
- Photocopy of birth certificate or passport (information pages only)
- Photocopy of parents’ TIN certificates and tax return documents
Admission Test
A written test will be conducted in Bengali, English, and Mathematics.
From Standard 8 onwards, the test will be tailored according to the chosen group: Science Group, Commerce Group or Humanities Group

Can I apply mid-year?

Yes, during special admission fairs, ESS may offer tuition waivers. These events are announced in advance.
Is an admission test mandatory?
Yes, for all classes above Playgroup. Playgroup candidates will attend an interview instead.
