Year 2020 has been declared as “Mujib Borsho” as it is the 100th birth anniversary of
our father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The program
undertaken to observe Mujib Borsho could not be executed properly and timely due
to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. So, the government is declaring Mujib Borsho’s
duration from March 17, 2020 to December 16, 2021. To celebrate this joyful event
ESS also organized an online art competition amongst the students.
Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman drew the roadmap for the
independence of Bangladesh. “The struggle now is the struggle for our emancipation;
the struggle now is the struggle for our independence. Joy Bangla! Since we have
given blood, we will give more blood. God-willing, the people of this country will be
liberated. Turn every house into a fort. Face (the enemy) with whatever you have.”
Those words were the beginning of the freedom Bangladesh. This virtual art
competition organized by ESS will encourage the students to the history of our great
Liberation War.
