About Us
European Scholastic Systems (ESS) Limited is an education-based consultancy firm that started its operation in 2001 with managing its concern -European Standard School (ESS), an English Medium School.
Vision
To assemble and maintain actions of its concern (educational institute) to provide excellent education to young learners and motivate them to participate in and contribute to the global world.

Chairman
Mr. Abdullah
Mr. Abdullah is the Chairman of European Scholastic Systems (ESS) Limited and also is one of the founder members of this company. He has completed his Bachelor of Science from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in Civil Engineering in 1988.
He started his career as a Research Engineer in UNDP Project. Later he joined Mastermind School as a Mathematics Teacher and continued working till 2000 before starting ESS.
Managing Director
Mr. Md. Morshedul Islam
Mr. Md. Morshedul Islam is the Managing Director of European Scholastic Systems (ESS) Limited. He has established ESS as one of the founding members in January 2001. He has completed a Bachelor of Technology (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology(IIT)-Kharagpur, India in 1996 and earned an EMBA degree in Finance from the Bangladesh University of Professionals in 2010.
He has started his professional career as a ‘Junior Design Engineer’ in Development Design consultants in 1996. He has served in Bangladesh Army in 1998. He started the teaching profession as Mathematics Teacher for O and A level at Mastermind School in January 1999. He has also served Bangladesh Railway under the cadre service (20th BCS) of the Ministry of Communication as an Assistant Controller of stores for one and half years.
At present Mr. Md. Morshedul Islam is serving as the Principal of European Standard School and he has been serving in this position since 2012.
He has also been involved with Voluntary services like Finance Secretary in Dakkhin Karimpur Hossaima Dakhil Madrasa since 2008 and as General Secretary of Rupayan Lakeside Flat Owners’ Association since January 2019.
He is the Life Fellow, Institution of Engineers Bangladesh, and a member of Amigos Band Cooperative Society.
He is the Founder President of the Bangladesh English Medium Schools’ Assistance Foundation (BEMSAF).
Director
Mr. Ranadev Dasgupta
Mr. Ranadev Dasgupta is one of the Directors of European Scholastic Systems (ESS) Limited and also one of the founder members of this organization. He has completed a Bachelor of Physics from Jagannath University in 1993 and Electrical & Electronic Engineering from United International University (UIU) Bangladesh in 2009 and completed Masters of Science (MSc) in Renewable Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Surrey, Guilford, England in 2013.
He started his career as Mathematics Teacher at Scholastica School in 1993. He joined Mastermind school as one of its pioneer teachers in 1997. He served in Hydron Bangladesh Limited as Head of Production from 2012. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Exelon Bangladesh Limited since 2015.
He had been the Treasurer of the Bangladesh Chess Federation for 4 years and an Executive Member of the Asian Chess Federation, Dubai for 5 years.
Director
Ms. Nasreen Jahan
Ms. Nasreen Jahan is one of the directors of European Scholastic Systems (ESS) Limited since 2019. She is the daughter of one of the founder members and Directors, Mr. Prof. A F M Nurul Islam (late).
She has completed her MBBS degree from Medical College for Women and Hospital, Dhaka in 1999. She has also completed Post Graduate Training in Gynecology and Obstetrics from Dhaka Medical College Hospital. She has also acquired PGD in Medical UltraSound Diagnostic in Sristy, Post Graduate Training in Radiology and Imaging from Shaheed Shuhrawardi Medical College Hospital, Dhaka.
She started her career as Medical Officer in UTPS in 2003. Later she joined as a Clinic Manager in Swanirvor Bangladesh under NSDP (USAID).
